Dr Bryan Hornby
Chiropractor/Owner, Author, Teacher
Growing up, Bryan was an extremely active child, involved in sports of all different kinds. At age 18, he pursued skateboarding. After 1 year and countless falls, Bryan developed persistent back pain, which led him to chiropractic. At the time, Bryan was enrolled in a Commerce degree, but his own chiropractic treatment success turned his life 360 degrees and he immediately switched over to studying Chiropractic.
Since gaining his B. Chiropractic Science and Masters in Chiropractic in 2008 from Macquarie University, Dr Bryan Hornby has worked in both city and rural private practices across 5 states in Australia. He has seen well in excess of 7,000 patient visits from all walks of life including office workers, mums-to-be, lobster fishermen, professional boxers, 90+ year olds, 3 day old babies, tradesmen, personal trainers and pig farmers.
He is also involved in the teaching of chiropractic (SOT) to other chiropractors and students in NSW and VIC, and has been doing so since gaining his Advanced Certification in SOT in 2009. His other professional accolades include Advanced Rating in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique, a Diploma in Clinical Nutrition, and over 250 hours of post graduate neurology study with the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies of America. Dr Bryan Hornby is also a member of the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australia (COCA) and is registered with the Chiropractors’ Board of Australia. He is an approved WorkCover and Department of Veterans’ Affairs provider, and has completed the Working With Kids legal and safety assessment.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys reading and writing, spending time with his family, and spiritual evolution. Cooking and food is one of his greatest passions, thanks to his Italian heritage.
